TIFFIN — A longtime beer distributor that serviced bars, stores, and restaurants in five northwest Ohio counties closed Friday after 62 years in business as part of an effort by MillerCoors LLC to reduce the number of its distributors. Kepplers of Tiffin opened in 1948 and had 20 remaining employees, acting general manager Nate Hartman said.

Brewmaster Jamie Martin says summer is the brewpub’s busiest time, noting that it’s difficult to stay ahead of the light beer tastes of the season.
